PHILADELPHIA - The fifth-seed Dickinson men's squash team found some success at the top of the ladder on Friday afternoon in their first match at the College Squash Association National Team Championships winning the first three bouts against the fourth-seed Bowdoin College. Unfortunately, the Polar Bears showcased their depth the rest of the way to claim a 6-3 win at the Specter Squash Center.

Playing at the top spot
Joe Smythe dropped the first game 5-11 to Thomas Winston, but then held on for a pair of 11-9 wins prior to collecting an 11-2 triumph in the fourth for the match. At the number two and three slots,
Omar Ali and
Kobe Fleming each fell behind 2-0, before ripping off three straight wins against Nick Wilkinson and Abhiroop Reddy respectively.
Cormac Sullivan (6th),
Bradley Hennessy (8th) and
James Kiracofe (9th) were each able to secure one game against their opponent, but would ultimately fall in four games.
