PHILADELPHIA - The Dickinson men's squash team split the first two flights with the Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats on Friday evening, but then dropped the seven contests en route to an 8-1 defeat on day one of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships at the Specter Squash Center.

At the number one spot
Joe Smythe and Kyle Broadhurst traded the first four games, before the Diplomat held on for a slim 11-9 victory in the fifth.
Omar Ali playing at two fell behind 1-0 to Sharan Punjabi, prior to claiming the next two games 11-9 and 11-7. However, Punjabi nabbed the fourth 11-7, but the Devil would not be deterred as Ali secured the match 12-10 during the decisive fifth. Unfortunately, the Red and White could not collect another win on the day as
Bradley Hennessy won the second game against Juanber Hinostroza, before dropping the next two to fall 3-1.
