CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson men's squash team began their winter break slate on Friday with a 7-2 loss to the 20th-ranked Middlebury College Panthers at the Kline Squash Center. The Red Devils welcomed back three players to their lineup after returning from their study abroad programs during the fall semester.
Inside the Match
The Red Devils lineup shuffled from their Fall setup with the return of sophomore's Joe Smythe and Cormac Sullivan return from abroad, while fifth-year Omar Ali also returned to the court for the Red and White. The two wins came in the first and second flights, with Smythe winning easily in the top flight in a three-game victory. While Omar Ali needed five games to win the second spot, despite a dominate display in all of his three games won. First-year Will Krizek came close in the fifth flight, eventually falling in four games. Noah George and Cormac Sullivan also fought hard in the fourth and eighth flights but couldn't get the job done. Owen Buroker, Sam Knipp, Aidan Ray and James Kiracofe also all lost in three games.
