FAIRFIELD, Pa. - The Dickinson women's golf team closed out a busy weekend on Sunday afternoon by competing at the Gettysburg College Spring Invitational at the Carroll Valley Resort Golf Course at Liberty Mountain.
The Red and White sent four players to the course on the day after their low scorer from Saturday senior
Olivia Chae missed Sunday's action. That gave someone else the ability to go low for the Red and White on the 5549-yard, par 71 course.
Maggie Byers would serve as that individual carding a 106. The duo of
Claire Kingsbury and
Becca Schulman came in within a stroke of each other heading to the 19th-hole at 107 and 108 respectively.
Diana Zeppos rounded out the Devils roster for the tournament by posting a 125.
Gettysburg College would sweep both honors on the afternoon as 'Lucy Barton came in with a winning score of two-over 73. That number would be just part of the reason the Bullets claimed the team title by firing a team total of 323, followed by Marymount (330), Franklin & Marshall (350), Gettysburg "B" (360), Salisbury (438), Dickinson (446) and PSU-Altoona (450).
Next on the Tee
Dickinson will take part in their final prep for the Centennial Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon when they head to Quarryville, Pennsylvania and Tanglewood Golf Course for the Millersville University Invite. The action gets underway at 1pm.
