DALLAS, Pa. – The Dickinson men's cross country team starts their 2025 season on a high note Friday evening at the Misericordia University Invite 4k, finishing first overall.
The Red Devils competed against 10 squads, including Misericordia, Scranton, Marywood, King's College, Delaware Valley, Wilkes, Lycoming College, Neumann, Keystone, and Penn State Scranton.
The team ran an average time of 12:34.60, with a combined team-time of 1:02:52.90. Running a speedy 12:25 was Junior
Nathan Caldwell, good for second place overall. The time bests his performance at the invite last year, where he placed third with a time of 12:36.9.
Two more Red Devils joined Caldwell in the top five, including Senior
Alexander Kane who finished third overall with a time of 12:29.30, improving on his fifth-place finish at last year's event. Sophomore
Luke Knestout placed fourth overall with a time of 12:29.70 in his season debut.
Other notable finishes include Junior
Benjamin Moseman who placed ninth (12:42.50) and
Atticus Fair who placed 11
th (12:46.50).
On the Docket
The Red Devils are set to continue the season at the Little Three Championships, hosted by Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pa. on Friday, September 5 with races beginning at 5 p.m.
