CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's squash was back in action on Saturday afternoon taking on Vassar College inside the Kline Squash Center. For the second straight day the Red and White were in full control of the match picking up an 8-1 win.
Inside the Match
After getting the day off on Friday,
Joe Smythe was back at the top of the ladder continuing his dominant season by defeating Matthew Okulski in three. Right behind him
Elian Vera knocked off Konstantinos Georgallides in straight games. The group of
Cormac Sullivan (5th),
Derek Du (6th),
James Kiracofe (7th),
George Vollmer V (8th) and
Adam Warburton (9th) also had little issue in their matches with each of them collecting 3-0 wins.
Owen Buroker playing at three gave up a total of eleven points to Kyle Benson over the first two games, before eventually dropping the third game 11-7. Fortunately, he was able to dig in and post an 11-6 triumph in the fourth. Unfortunately, Dickinson could not complete the 9-0 shutout as Aqeel Merchant was able to upend
Will Krizek in the fourth slot.
