LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson Men's Swim Team had their season opener at Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, facing off against Franklin & Marshall, Ursinus, and Swarthmore.

Overall Results

• Swarthmore went 3-0 on the day, scoring 215 over Dickinson, 212 over Ursinus, and 199 over F&M.
• Ursinus went 2-1, posting wins over F&M (138-118) and Dickinson (154-103), but falling to Swarthmore (48-212)
• The hosts, F&M, went 1-2 for the day, winning against Dickinson (152-98) but falling to Ursinus and Swarthmore.
• Dickinson went 0-3, losing to F&M (98-152), Swarthmore (43-215), and Ursinus (103-154).

Relays

• 200 Yard Medley Relay - Dickinson A, consisting of Paul Knecht, Lukas Nier, Aidan Smith, and Jack Engel, placed fourth with a time of 1.38.23, while Dickinson B, Eliott Deluca, Joe Apat, Damon Buchanan, and Matthew Ferenz were disqualified.
• 400 Yard Freestyle Relay - Dickinson A, Knecht, Engel, Smith, Nier, finished in sixth with a time of 3:20.13; Dickinson B, Buchanan, Deluca, Patrick Miller, Cole Newman, finished 10th with a time of 3:36.31.

Individual Swimming

• 1000 Yard Freestyle - Ben Brandt finished sixth with a time of 10:47.08.
• 200 Yard Freestyle - Apat came in ninth, taking 1:56.71, while Newman took tenth place, finishing in 1:57.99.
• 100 Yard Backstroke - Knecht took fifth, finishing in 54.50 seconds, Deluca came in tenth at a time of 59.38 seconds, and Miller finished 13th at 1:08.07.
• 100 Yard Breaststroke - Nier finished in 1:02.07, good for fifth place, while Ferenz took eighth with a time of 1:09.13.
• 200 Yard Butterfly - Newman came in seventh with a time of 2:15.84, and Buchanan finished in eighth at 2:16.58.
• 50 Yard Freestyle - Engel took fifth at 22.66 seconds, and Smith finished in 23.17 seconds, good for ninth.
• 100 Yard Freestyle - Nier finished in fifth with a time of 49.41, Engel took 51.49 seconds, good for ninth, and Miller came in 13th at 58.12 seconds.
• 200 Yard Backstroke - Deluca took seventh place with a time of 2:11.51, and Ferenz finished in 2:12.31, good for eighth.
• 200 Yard Breaststroke - Apat came in fifth with a time of 2:21.04, while Newman took sixth, finishing in 2:32.33.
• 500 Yard Freestyle - Brandt took ninth with a time of 5:14.72, with Buchanan right behind him in tenth at 5:26.59.
• 100 Yard Butterfly - Knecht finished fourth with a time of 53.41, while Smith came in 12th at 57.64 seconds.
• 200 Yard IM - Apat took ninth at 2:09.83, while Brandt finished 11th (2:12.92) and Ferenz finished 12th (2:13.76)
