LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson women's swimming continued the 2026 Centennial Conference Championships on Friday, February 20. The Red Devils had a great second day of competition, with sophomore
Caitlin Gross breaking a school record in the 50 Free during prelims. After the day two, the team is in sixth place with 96.5 points.
Prelim Results
- Day two of conferences started in the 500 Free prelims where two Devils punched their ticket to the evening finals. Senior Emma Johnston notched a great tenth-place finish, touching the wall in 5:12.65 to qualify. Also qualifying was junior Julia Byers with a 14th place, 5:17.31 finish.
- The 50 Free prelims featured sophomore Caitlin Gross breaking a six-year Dickinson record set at the 2020 conference championships. Her quick time of 23.87 gave her the record and placed her seventh overall to qualify for finals.
Finals Results
- To open finals, Johnston continued in the 500 Free with a 5:10.66 swim, taking third in her heat and 11th overall. Byers recorded a time of 5:14.03 to take fifth in her heat and 13th overall.
- Gross competed in the 50 Free finals, swimming a 23.92 to take sixth in her heat and tie for sixth overall.
- The day closed with the 400 Medley Relay, where the B Relay of Tori May, Sydney Farling, Alina Shipley, and Madeline Dold took first in their heat and 17th overall with a great 4:07.29 finish.
