CARLISLE, Pa. - On Tuesday, April 7th, Dickinson College held its annual campus-wide Day of Giving and just like every year Red Devil athletics were well represented. During the course of the 24-hour event nearly 1,800 alumni, friends, families, and current student-athletes came together to raise more than $450,000 across all athletic programs as well as the general McAndrews Fund for Athletics which is more than a 35-percent increase from what was collected in 2025.
The McAndrews Fund supports the intercollegiate experiences of current Dickinson student-athletes by enabling each of Dickinson's 25 athletic programs to recruit and develop premier student-athletes, invest in state-of-the-art facilities, travel nationally and internationally for training and community service projects. It also allows for the purchase of vital and essential equipment to give Dickinson athletes the greatest chance to compete at the highest levels. In addition, the fund provides Dickinson College the necessary outlet to hire and cultivate top coaches.
"I continue to be impressed by everyone who is a champion for Red Devil Athletics" stated Dickinson's Director of Athletics Celine Cunningham. "The generous support from our alumni, our families and fans of Dickinson Athletics is very overwhelming. Every gift no matter the size, directly impacts our student-athletes in every area of their Dickinson College experience."
Dickinson College Athletics would like to thank all of Red Devil Nation for their continued support of athletics and we hope to see all of you back on campus soon.
