LANCASTER, Pa. — The Dickinson men's cross country team opened its season with their 29th-consecutive first-place finish at the Little Three Championship hosted by Franklin and Marshall College on Tuesday evening.

Senior and 2025 NCAA qualifier Nathan Caldwell led the way for Dickinson, crossing the finish line in second place (10:07.6). Fellow 2025 NCAA qualifier Luke Knestout followed closely behind, finishing third (10:11.1). Knestout, who won last year's race at Gettysburg, was followed by Atticus Fair, who placed fourth (10:15.0).

Rounding out Dickinson's top seven were junior Alex Hansen, who finished ninth (10:28.2); junior Eddie Liszka, who placed 11th (10:35.2); senior Mason Macek, who finished 12th (10:39.5); and sophomore Landen Springer, who crossed the line for 14th (10:42.3).

The strong opening performance gave the Red Devils a team score of 29 points, securing the championship over Franklin & Marshall (48) and Gettysburg (52).

The Little Three Championship is an annual 5K featuring Dickinson, Gettysburg, and Franklin & Marshall. This year's competition featured 51 runners across the three colleges.

Dickinson will return to competition on Friday, September 4, when the Red Devils travel to Shippensburg, Pa., for the Galen Piper Invitational, hosted by Shippensburg University. The race is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
