ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Dickinson women's golf team returned to action on Sunday afternoon to take part in the McDaniel College Fall Invite at the The Bridges Golf Club. The Red and White put two teams out on the course during the day with the "A" squad posting a third-place finish with a score of 400, while the "B" unit landed at 404 for fourth.
"A" Team - 400 (3rd)
Rookie
Hailey Flynn led the group with an 86 on the 5604-yard, par 72 course.
Claire Kingsbury also broke the century mark with a 95. The duo of
Charlotte Anstine and
Hannah DeMario carded 108 and 111 respectively.
"B" Team - 404 (4th)
Lily Spanos and
Emily Renouf ended within three shots of each other at 90 and 93.
Lily Simons continued her solid start to her collegiate career with a 106, followed by
Diana Zeppos on 115.
Sarah Wang of Franklin and Marshall College earned the individual title with a seven-over 79 to hold off Olivia Kamieniarz from Hood College by three shots.
