WASHINGTON, N.J. - Sophomore
made a strong push on Tuesday to try and claim the individual title at The Gauntlet tournament hosted by the Premier Collegiate Tournaments group at Hawk Pointe Golf Club. Gumbinger fired a five-under 67 to help him post a two-day total of 140 to end up two shots behind winner Jonatan Liljeblad from Albright College.
Day Two
Following Gumbinger's solid afternoon,
Vincent Carr playing as an individual carded a one-over 73 for the second day in a row on the 6902-yard, par 72 course.
William Griffith added a 75 to end his tournament tied for 19th. After both firing 77s on Monday, the tandem of
Jake Loofbourrow and
Jake Goldberg carded 81 and 83 respectively.
Landon Mauser knocked six shots off his score from the previous day to end with a 77 on Tuesday.
Centennial Conference rival Franklin and Marshall College nabbed the team title with a total score of 587 aided in large part to combining for a one-under 287 in the second round.

Walter Gumbinger added a 75.
Jake Goldberg and Jake Loofourrow finished with identical 77's.
Landon Mauser rounded out the competing Devils on 85.
Charles Schrohe from Division I Lehigh University paces the individual pack at two-under 70, while the trio of Albright, Drew and Franklin & Marshall lead the team standings with a combined score of 300.
