SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Following a strong performance on Tuesday at the Little Three Championship, the Dickinson men's cross country team was back in action on Friday evening competing in the 2026 Galen Piper Invite, hosted by Shippensburg University.

Junior Luke Knestout continued his strong start to the season, following up his third-place finish at Tuesday's Little Three Championships with a ninth-place finish in the 6K thanks to a time of 19:28.6. Nathan Caldwell followed closely behind, placing 14th with a time of 19:38.5, while Atticus Fair added a 17th-place finish in 19:44.4.

Rounding out Dickinson's top seven were Eddie Liszka, who placed 35th in 20:37.7 and Mason Macek, who finished 38th in 20:42.7. Jacob Sokatch recorded a 45th-place finish in 21:04.8, while Alex Hansen rounded out the group in 49th with a time of 21:09.0.

The Red Devils finished fourth overall with 106 points among nine teams and more than 130 competitors. George Washington claimed the team title with 16 points.

Dickinson will return to action on September 12th at the annual Dickinson Long-Short Invite. The meet will be held at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania, with competition scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
