Dickinson College

Emmett Nama has joined the Dickinson College Athletic Department as of April 30th, 2025 as the new Facilities and Equipment Manager, Director of Athletic Celine Cunningham announced earlier in the week. Nama joins the Red Devil community after spending four seasons at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey serving first as a student equipment manager for the Scarlet Knights football program from 2021 to the Spring of 2023 where he was tasked with maintaining the storage areas, setting up fields for practice and games as well as performed laundry duties for both players and coaching staff. Then, prior to the 2023 season he was named the Equipment Graduate Assistant for the program where he managed a staff of approximately 15 students to help them accomplish various needs for the players, coaches or department. After graduating from Rutgers, Nama moved onto Avis Budget Group in Philadelphia where he directed a team of 15 employees as an Operations Manager supplying guidance, training and support to complete company objectives. 

Nama graduated from Rutgers with his Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Sociology after the 2022-2023 academic year, before obtaining his Masters of Science in Global Sports Business the following year.
