Shane Scott

Shane Scott, a native of New Jersey, joined the Dickinson College athletic department in June 2025 as Assistant Equipment Manager. He holds both a Bachelor’s (2022) and Master’s (2023) in sport management from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania.

While at Lock Haven, Scott gained hands-on experience with Penn State Athletics during a season-long internship, managing equipment for 11 programs, preparing gear for practices and games, and overseeing setup and breakdown operations. Shortly after his time at Penn State he became a graduate equipment intern at Lock Haven, further refining his operational skills. Following graduation, Scott served as defensive coordinator and equipment manager for Palmyra High School’s football program in 2024, combining coaching responsibilities with oversight of all team gear and uniform logistics.

A standout player at Lock Haven, Scott was a four-year starter and two-time team captain on the football team. He finished his collegiate career with 218 tackles across 34 games, earning PSAC All-Conference honors and ranking 17th in Division II for tackles per game in his junior year.
