Ian Mitchell ‘10 joins the Dickinson College coachingstaff following an outstanding playing career with the Red Devils.He was drafted to play professionally in Germany, earning thestarting role for the Frankfurt Universe. He will return toCarlisle, joining the Red Devils for training camp at theconclusion of the season in Germany.

 



Mitchell was a three-time All-Centennial Conference selection atquarterback, breaking numerous conference and school records. Heled the Red Devils to a conference title and an NCAA playoffappearance in 2006, and the ECAC Southeast Championship in2007.

 



Mitchell was voted the Red Devils’ Rookie of the Year in2006, and named the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player in2007, 2008 and 2009. In addition to his school and conferencerecords, he became the first quarterback in Centennial history torush for more than 2,000 yards and throw for over 5,000 yards inhis career.

 



Mitchell earned an internship with the Philadelphia Eagles andwill work with the team during preseason training this summer. Hewill then join the Red Devils for camp, working primarily with thequarterbacks.
