Margaret Ruth joins the Red Devil field hockey coaching staffthis fall, following an outstanding playing career at SusquehannaUniversity. Ruth was a four-year starter as the Crusadergoaltender, earning First-team All-Landmark Conference honors in2013.
Ruth was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2013,and was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll andthe National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division IIIAll-Academic Squad, all four years of her career.
Ruth has a strong background with club teams, and has playedinternationally, including tours in Italy and Germany. She has hadthe privilege of working with coaches from England, Scotland,China, Ireland, Spain and Argentina. In addition to helping herdevelop as a player, her mentors have given her great perspectiveto grow, enhance and diversify her coaching abilities.
A 2014 graduate of Susquehanna, Ruth earned a B.A. in GraphicDesign. She served as a photographer and assistant coach at theUltimate Defender Goalkeeper Academy this summer.
