Tim Marshall '07 returns to his alma mater as an assistant coachwith the Red Devil lacrosse program. Marshall, a standout defenderunder head coach Dave Webster, returns to Carlisle, following aone-year stint at Skidmore College with former Dickinson assistantJack Sandler. Skidmore was one of just two opponents to post a winagainst the Red Devils in 2011. The other was eventual nationalchampion, Salisbury, who topped the Devils in the NCAAquarterfinals.

 

Prior to heading to Skidmore, Marshall served as the assistantmen's lacrosse coach at the University of Scranton for two seasons,and assumed the role of Interim Head Coach for the 2010 season. Hebrings a wealth of experience in all aspects of running a top-notchprogram and will be a great addition to the Dickinson Collegecoaching staff.

 

Skidmore was honored as the Liberty League Coaching Staff of theYear in 2011. The Thoroughbreds were just shy of an NCAA Tournamentbid, posting an 11-4 record. Skidmore was tabbed with eightAll-Conference performers and three All-Americans as theThoroughbreds earned the highest national ranking in schoolhistory.

 

Marshall was a three-year starting defender for Dickinson. Heearned a B.A. in 2007 and began working toward a master's degreewhile at the University of Scranton. The Red Devils posted a 38-21record during Marshall's playing career, earning bids to theCentennial Conference playoffs all four years. The Red Devilsfinished 11-4 in 2006, one of the best records in programhistory.
