College women's volleyball team closed out the season with a 3-0
win over Washington College. The Devils won the first two sets
25-23, 25-10 and rallied in the third to win the match with a 27-25
decision. |
Ely Gosheva (Sofia, Bulgaria/American U. of
Sofia) celebrated senior day with a game-high 13
kills and 15 digs.
Senior Kristen Lee (Los Angeles,
Calif./Brentwood) sang the National Anthem then
tallied three aces and 14 digs in the match.
Classmate Chelsea Winkert (Cazenovia,
N.Y./Cazenovia) dished out 28 assists, adding 15 digs
and four kills.
Senior libero Amanda Hayes (Midlothian,
Va./Midlothian) added 13 kills and four assists
while Alison Molchany (Columbia, Md./Chapelgate
Christian Academy) chipped in with six kills and a
pair of blocks and senior Lexie Kob (Collegeville,
Pa./Springford) tallied five digs.
The Red Devils finish 7-16 overall and 4-6 in the
conference.
