(Williamsport, Pa.) - The
Dickinson College men's basketball team closed out the semester
with an 89-74 setback at Lycoming College on Sunday afternoon. |
The Devils played even throughout the first half until a 28-10
run to close out the first period put the Warriors in front 43-23
at the break.
The Red Devils came out and made a 10-0 run to the start the
second half. Dickinson trailed by just 12 midway through the second
stanza before a big run put Lycoming in control, 72-47 with 8:40
remaining in the game.
Four Devils reached double-figures on the day, led by a
team-high 19 points from first-year Obi Ollawa (Los
Angeles, Calif./View Park Prep).
Classmate Chris Barsanti (Hummelstown, Pa./Tilton
School) hit 6-of-7 shots from the floor for 13
points.
Junior Chris Harrington (Cheverly, Md./Georgetown
Prep)tallied 12 points while sophomore Chris
Heine (Spring Lake, N.J./St. Rose) chipped in with
10. Doug Jakiela (Wayne,
Pa./Conestoga) controlled a team-best six
rebounds.
Ishaan Davis (Jamaica, N.Y./Christ the King Regional) led
Lycoming (8-2) with a game-high 21 points. Sebastian Sabella
(Bayside, N.Y./Episcopal)added 17 points.
The Red Devils slip to 0-8 on the season. They return to action
on January 6th, hosting Ursinus College at 8:00 pm.
