of nationally-ranked teams, the #25-tabbed Dickinson College
women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback to #15 Swarthmore on
Saturday. |
The Garnet tallied the game-winning goal in the 17th minute as
Hannah Deming scored off a rebound for the only tally of the
day.
The Red Devils held the advantage in shots, 16-7 and a slim edge
in corners, 4-3. Senior Kailyn Hartmann (Darien,
Conn./St. Luke's) made three saves in goal for
Dickinson while Marie Mutryn stopped six in the Garnet net.
The Red Devils suffer their first loss of the season, slipping
to 6-1 overall. They host Ursinus College on Saturday at 1:00
pm.
