Dickinson College women's volleyball team suffered a pair of losses
to open the season at the Juniata College Invitational. |
The Red Devils squared-off with #2-ranked Juniata in the first
match, falling to the Eagles, 3-1 (25-8, 25-10, 19-25, 25-11).
Senior Kristen Lee (Los Angeles,
Calif./Brentwood) led the attack with a match-high 12
kills, adding a pair of aces and five digs.
Senior setter Chelsea Winkert (Cazenovia,
N.Y./Cazenovia)dished out 19 assists and recorded seven
digs. Lauren Yura (Morgantown,
W.V./Morgantown) added 10 digs
while Amanda Hayes (Midlothian,
Va./Midlothian) tallied seven digs as well.
The Red Devils dropped a 3-0 decision to Hiram College in their
second match. The game scores were identical (25-17, 25-17, 25-17).

Dickinson slips to 0-2. They return to action tomorrow, facing
Eastern University and Ithaca College.
