Pa.) - The Dickinson College women's volleyball team suffered a
tough 3-0 loss on Saturday afternoon, falling to Centennial
Conference foe Haverford. The 'Fords improved to 14-12 overall and
7-0 in the Centennial Conference while Dickinson falls to 5-15 and
2-6 in the CC.
As the
lone senior on the volleyball squad, Lauren
Yura (Morgantown, W. Va./Morgantown), along with
her family, was honored at the opening of today's match.
First-year
Grace
Morgan (York, Pa./York Suburban) led the way for the
Devils, posting a team-high 12 assists and nine digs. Sophomore
Avery Zuvic
(Cold Spring, N.Y./Haldane) posted a team-high six kills
and two service aces, adding eight digs.
First-year Joanna De
Castro (Far Hills, N.J./West Morris Mendham) posted a
match-high 25 digs while junior Alicia
Palmieri (Linden, N.J./Union Catholic) chipped in with
10 digs and Liz Norris
(Southbury, Conn./Hotchkiss School).
The Red
Devils will host their final home game in conference play as
Gettysburg comes to town on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
