(Gettysburg, Pa) - The
Dickinson College men's basketball team faced a truly remarkable
shooting performance, falling at Gettysburg, 83-42 on Wednesday
night. |
The Bullets stormed out of the gate, opening with a 12-0 run en
route to a 44-17 advantage at halftime. Kevin Kennedy went 5-of-6
from beyond the arc in the first half, scoring 15 points.
The Bullets shot 63 percent from the field in the first half and
75 percent from long-range, sinking 9-of-12 three-pointers in the
opening half.
Gettysburg's shooting cooled slightly in the second half.
Kennedy finished with seven three-pointers for 21 points. Andrew
Powers scored a game-high 23 points, adding three assists and four
steals.
Sophomore Chris Smith (West Hartford, Conn./Loomis
Chaffee) turned in a strong performance, hitting
4-of-5 shots for eight points. Pat Kearns (Hartford,
Conn./East Catholic) added eight points as well while
first-year Obi Ollawa (Los Angeles, Calif./View Park
Prep) chipped in with five points and five
rebounds.
The Red Devils (4-18, 4-13) travel to #15-ranked Franklin &
Marshall on Saturday for the season finale.
