(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's soccer team suffered a 3-0, Centennial Conference setback to visiting Haverford College on Saturday.
Following a scoreless first half, the 'Fords were the ones who would break through, scoring in the 78th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Ford Bohrmann finished a Nikko Giannasca assist on a Haverford counter attack to put the 'Fords on the board.
The 'Fords struck again, just 2:02 later as Sam Yarosh collected a loose ball and tallied an insurance goal with 10:48 remaining in the game. First-year twins Colin and Brady Seitz connected for a final insurance goal as Colin scored the goal in the 84th minute for the final of 3-0.
The Red Devils held the advantage in shots, 17-11 while Haverford had the edge in corners, 6-2. Junior goaltender Andriy Mshanetskyy made six saves to earn the win for the 'Fords. Senior Cody Hickok (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) made five saves in goal for the Red Devils.
Senior defender Rob Nowlan (Atco, N.J./Hammonton) turned in another strong performance in the back.
Dickinson returns to action on Wednesday night, hosting the University of Mary Washington at 7:00 pm.
