(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The #23-ranked Dickinson women's soccer team remained unbeaten in conference play, improving to 4-0-1 in the Centennial with a 2-0 shutout at Bryn Mawr College.
Junior Bridgette Corbran (Manasquan, N.J./Wall) put the Devils on the board, scoring unassisted in the 12th minute of the match.
Junior Nicole Fronsdahl (Groton, Mass./Groton) finished a cross from classmate Hannah Matlack (Needham, Mass./Noble & Greenough) to put the Devils on top, 2-0, in the 57th minute.
That would be all the scoring as both defenses held the shots to a minimum. The Red Devils held a slim edge in shots in the first half, 5-3, and outshot the Owls 5-2, after the break. The hosts held the advantage in corners, forcing three while holding Dickinson to just one in each half.
Aviva Kosansky finished with four saves for Bryn Mawr as they slip to 5-7 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial Conference.
Junior Charlotte Armour (New Haven, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) made one save to post the shutout in the nets for Dickinson. The Red Devils improve to 10-1-1 on the season and 4-0-1 in the conference. The Devils travel to Gettysburg on Wednesday night for a 7:00 kick-off against the Bullets.
