(Carlisle, Pa.) – The #22-ranked Dickinson women's soccer team scored three goals in the first half to post a 4-0 win over visiting Washington College on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils put their first goal on the board in the 26th minute with a strong build down the left side line. The high, looping ball into the area led to a dangerous situation and junior Nicole Fronsdahl (Groton, Mass./Groton) was able finish with an assist from Michaela Donohue (Bronxville, N.Y./Bronxville).

First-year Andrea Caya (Sellersville, Pa./Pennridge) helped the Red Devils stretched the lead to 3-0 in a span of just over three minutes. The Red Devils capitalized on a corner as Caya drove a header into the back of the net off a great serve from senior captain Cate Maugle (Glenmoore, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) in the 32nd minute.

Caya made a beautiful lead pass to senior Allie Young (New Canaan, Conn./St. Luke's), who beat a defender and put a shot into the lower left corner of the net with 10:35 remaining in the half.

Maugle closed out the scoring in the 68th minute, converting a penalty kick with her first goal of the season.

The Red Devils outshot the Shorewomen 31-5 and held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks. Sophomore goaltender Melissa Barry made a career-high 15 saves in goal for Washington. The Devils had three penalty kicks on the day as well. Barry made a save on one while another went just wide of the post.

Junior Charlotte Armour (New Haven, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) earned the win in goal for the Red Devils while first-year Amanda Masterson (Essex Falls, N.J./West Essex) came on for the second half, making one save to secure the shutout.

Young tallied her team-high eighth goal of the season while Caya raised her point total to 11 for the season. Maugle leads the Devils with four assists on the year.

The Red Devils improve to 11-2-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the Centennial Conference. They are on the road on Wednesday, traveling to #7-ranked Johns Hopkins University for a 7:00 pm kick-off.
