(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team played through two overtimes of scoreless soccer, ending in a 0-0 draw at Gettysburg College on Thursday night.

The Red Devils seemed to hold the majority of the possession in the first half, but the hosts made the most of some strong opportunities.

Sophomore Briona Davis (Franklin Park, N.J./Franklin) made a strong run and carried the ball into the penalty area before Kiera Loftus came out to make a big save in the first half.

The Red Devils held a slim edge in shots, 6-4, forcing three corners in the opening stanza. Dickinson finished with a 14-8 shot advantage and matched the Bullets with two corners after the break.

Davis had a shot go just wide of the post and first-year Elizabeth Krause (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) put one off the post, early in the second half.

Dickinson continued to control the run of play for the better part of the match with both teams holding solid in the defensive third and receiving strong play in the midfield.

Loftus made four saves on the night while junior Amanda Masterson (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) made a pair of saves in the nets for the Red Devils.

Olivia Termini (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) and Gabriella Tomasini (Garden City Park, N.Y./New Hyde Park) combined for seven shots to pace the Red Devil attack.

The Red Devils move to 5-4-4 overall and 0-3-2 in the Centennial Conference. They return home to face Washington College on Saturday with the opening kick-off set for 2:00 pm.
