The Bears jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the third and led 23-17 until a late run cut the deficit to 23-21. The Devils held on two set points before Ursinus finally earned one to take the third, 25-23.

The Red Devils overcame a 16-9 deficit in the fourth and rallied at the end with a 5-1 run to win the match.

The first set went back-and-forth before the Royals pulled in front 10-6. The Devils kept chipping away to tie the match, 16-16. The teams traded leads to pull even again at 20-20. Dickinson then pulled away behind big kills from Beecher and Park to claim the set.

The second saw a similar pattern as EMU took an early lead before the Devils made a run. The Devils went up, 20-15, on a kill from sophomore Megan Gombatz (Farmington, Conn./Farmington). The Royals would answer, knotting the match 24-24.

Each team had a chance to close out the set but it would be the Devils with a kill and service ace from Park to hold on, 28-26.

Dickinson had a quick start in the third, leading 4-1. The visitors rallied to even the set at 8-8. The score see-sawed before a three-point run put the Devils up, 20-17. Bongo recorded three kills down the stretch before Gombatz put one down for the final of 25-21.

Bongo led the way with 15 kills, 11 digs and a pair of aces. Park reached double-figures again as well with 13 kills and four block assists. Banker was solid on the line, serving up five aces in the match.
