Box Score (Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback in the season finale at Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday afternoon.
The Diplomats capitalized on a corner to net the lone goal of the match. Kate Kerr redirected a header off the serve from Sarah Mischianti in the 32nd minute to put F&M on the board.
The Red Devils outshot the host Diplomats, 20-12, forcing seven saves from F&M goaltender Nicole Savidge. The Devils forced 12 corners while allowing nine on the defensive end but could were unable to tally the equalizer.
Junior Amanda Masterson (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) made three saves in the first half while sophomore Mary Katherine Brosnan (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Old Tappan) came on in the second but did not face a shot.
The Red Devils finish 7-6-4 overall and 2-5-2 in the Centennial Conference.
