Box Score (Allentown, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw, playing through two scoreless overtime periods at Muhlenberg College on Saturday afternoon.
The match was scoreless throughout the first half with Dickinson outshooting the Mules 7-4 and holding a 5-2 advantage on corners.
Muhlenberg would strike first, capitalizing on a free kick to take a 1-0 lead off the foot of Isabel Schwartz in the 60th minute.
The Red Devils tallied the equalizer with some strong passing as first-year Tara Dedrickson (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) finished off assists from Briona Davis (Franklin Park, N.J./Franklin) and Addy Zandi (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) with 15:52 remaining in regulation.
The Devils held a 9-3 shot advantage after the break and a slim 2-1 edge during overtime. Libby Juliano made seven saves for Muhlenberg as they move to 2-4-2 overall and 0-1-2 in the Centennial Conference.
The Red Devils stand at 7-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in conference play. The return home to host Messiah College on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
