Box Score (Carlisle, Pa.) – The #19-ranked Dickinson women's soccer team posted another shutout on Wednesday night, improving to 6-0-2 on the season and 2-0-0 in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils struck twice in the second half, posting a 2-0 win over visiting Franklin & Marshall.
First-year Meg Tate (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) put the Red Devils on the board, scoring off an assist from Addy Zandi (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) in the 66th minute.
Junior Kyra Thomas (Watertown, Conn./The Taft School) added an insurance goal with just under 12 minutes to play, scoring almost immediately after coming on to the field.
The Red Devils outshot the Diplomats, 11-3, on the night and held a 10-2 advantage in corners.
Sophomore goaltender Carli Boyer (Silver Spring, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) celebrated her birthday with a shutout, turning away three shots on the night.
Sara Ghorashi made six saves in the nets for F&M.
