CARLISLE, Pa. - Meg Tate netted a second-half brace, but the visiting Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats scored four times in the opening 45-minutes to hold off a late Red Devils charge for a 4-2 win on Saturday afternoon at Dickinson Park.

In the 15th-minute F&M got on the board as Mikaela Timmermans broke through the backline to beat Juiliana Gianni for the 1-0 lead. Dickinson tried to respond shortly after, but Tate was denied by Sara Ghorashi. Sierra Brophy made it 2-0 at the 21:59 mark. DC would be held without a shot the rest of the half, while Haley Barge and Dahlia Pepe scored to make it 4-0 after 45-minutes.

The Devils were on the front foot to begin the second period with Charlotte Glancey having a go at goal in the 54th-minute, before Emma Cooney setup Tate for her first of the match. Then, Dickinson closed to within 4-2 at the 58:39 mark when Macey Mento settled down a bouncing ball to find Tate for her second. Kiera Shoup and Tate would record shots the rest of the way for the home side but were unable to best Ghorashi.
