F&M responded with a 6-2 push to close within 22-20 before a Travis Dobbins layup and a Tierney jumper extended the DC edge to 26-21. At the 4:04 mark, Justin Glover found the home side's first bucket with a triple after being setup by Bates. The Devils kept firing away from long range with Goeb and Gostovich (2) burying shots beyond the arch to make it 45-33 DC with 13:02 to go. Goeb added two more points a minute later after picking off a Sam Davison pass and going coast-to-coast for a thunderous jam. F&M would get the deficit under double-digits with 8:58 left when Jaylen Green finished at the rim cutting the margin to 49-40. Brandon Wiercinski took a nice feed from Robinson and knocked down a long-range shot to push the lead back to ten at 52-42.
