CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's golf team fired a combined 400 to defeat the visiting McDaniel College (486) in a dual match on Friday afternoon at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course. The event was supposed to be a tri-match, but Franklin & Marshall College was unable to bring the required four golfers to record a team score so they played as individuals.
Jillian Graff was the lowest scoring Devil with a 94 on the 5609-yard par 72 course. Two shots in back of her was
Charlotte Hancox at 96, while
Ella Miller carded a 99.
Olivia Chae posted a 111 to round out the scoring for the Red and White.
McDaniel's Vaishali Bhatt was the lone member of the Green Terror to break the century mark posting a 91. Callie Nelson was the next lowest McDaniel player at 120, followed by Zoey Smalls (133), Ashley Farrington (142), and Christina Baker (142).
Franklin & Marshall's Reilly Melvin had the best round of the day carding an 81, while her two teammates Bryn Fitchett and Claire Hill fired an 87 and 89 respectively.
