GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Dickinson men's squash team opened their season on Saturday evening with a 5-4 win against the Big Red of Denison University, in the College Squash Association (CSA) men's Match of the Week inside the Mitchell Center.
Inside the Match:
Dickinson picked up the first three wins of the night in the third, fifth and eighth flight. First-year Noah George picked up his first career in dramatic fashion, taking down Charlie Fenwick in a battle that lasted over an hour and ended 12-10 in the fifth. Senior Captain Aidan Ray eased past his opponent in the fifth flight, winning in three sets. First-year Menghou Du also won his first career match in a close four setter in the eighth spot. The other two wins for the Red Devils came in the fourth and ninth flight, with the experienced graduate student Samuel Knipp winning a dramatic five set match, while senior Bradley Hennessy finished the job for the red and white, taking down Gus Nelson in 37 minutes.
