CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's basketball team struggled to get the offense going in the second half on Saturday afternoon as the visiting Elizabethtown College outscored the Red and White 51-18 en route to an 83-48 non-conference win at the Kline Center.
- Free throws for McGrath and Zerbe bumped it out to 19-7, before Danirae Renno, Cyleigh Wilson and Kennedy picked up seven in a row (19-14) with two minutes gone.
- The Devils then put together an 8-3 run with buckets from Ella Smith, Marion and Zerbe helped DC to open up a ten-point cushion (27-17) at the 4:26 mark.
- Elizabethtown answered back in a big way as Summer McNulty knocked down a jumper to spark a 15-3 outburst over the final three minutes to grab a 32-30 advantage going to the break.
- Makenna Mummert and Zerbe traded buckets inside the first two minutes, but Lindsay Boyd, Jess King and Renno would then explode with ten straight pushing their lead to 44-32.
- Emma Landes and Zerbe tried to keep the home side within striking distance at 46-36.
- However, three balls for Grace O'Connor and Wilson helped the Jays soar to a 13-2 charge to close the period (59-38).
- Kennedy and Zerbe exchanged buckets within the first 54-seconds.
- E'Town then put the game completely out of reach with a 14-0 run aided by triples for Boyd, McNulty and Wilson (2) blowing the lead out to 75-40.
- Molly Heron, Esther Nlebemuo and McGrath supplied the remaining offense for DC as the Jays finished off the 83-48 final.
