  • Baskets for Nicholas Lam and Gerard Nicholson made it 9-6 BC, but then the Devils got hot from long-range as Matt Mahoney and Cosby (2) each hit to help DC go ahead 21-11 with under ten minutes left.
  • Dylan Minnick then started a 9-0 Bearcats charge ending on a finish by Trevon Coppin making the score 22-21 home side at the 12:53 mark.
  • Cosby drilled his third three-ball of the half to stall the push, before Minnick collected three of his own to leave the Cats ahead 25-24.

  • Dickinson continued to open up their lead by scoring nine of the first dozen points with contributions coming from Juan Ruiz, Petrusev and Wiercinski (46-33).
  • Triples from Jack Gordon and Lam coupled with a layup for Minnick cut the deficit down to 46-41 with six minutes gone.
  • Free throws for Petrusev and J. Ruiz did just enough to keep the guests on top as the Bearcat duo of Coppin and Lam cut the margin to just one at 50-49 with 8:35 to play.
  • Three straight baskets by Petrusev stretched the lead to 56-51, but ten straight BC points aided primarily by six consecutive foul shots made it 61-56 Bearcats with under four left.
