From the Mind of Coach Zingman
- Thoughts on Schedule
- We have a challenging non-conference schedule with several games against teams that are often regionally ranked, including Bridgewater, Mary Washington and York (Pa.). Our conference season starts off with two big games, including a road night game against Washington (Md.) and a home contest against the defending CC champion Johns Hopkins.
- What have you seen in the preseason that has you excited about the season?
- I have been very excited about our dynamic play in the attack. We have created lots of quality scoring chances in our two scrimmages and I am looking forward to seeing that continue. We have also been solid in the back, and outside of a couple fixable mistakes the team defense has been very consistent.
- How have your first-years acclimated to the college game so far?
- Our first-years have done a fantastic job throughout the preseason. They have been fully incorporated into the team and I think there are many first-years that have the potential to make an immediate impact this season.
- What is your outlook for the year ahead?
- We have a great mix of experienced returners and talented first-years, so I am really excited to see the team build on our Centennial Conference playoff appearance last season.
