WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Dickinson men's golf team was back at it on Sunday afternoon taking part in Day One of The Melee tournament hosted by Premier Collegiate Tournaments at Ford's Colony Country Club. With a day to go the Red and White sit in a tie for fifth after combining for a solid score of 301.
Senior
Collin McMahon-Shea carded a one-over 72 on the 6621-yard, par 71 course to sit only two shots off of the individual lead.
Luke Vance came in with a four-over 75, while the duo of
William Griffith and
Ryan Wheeler posted identical 77s.
Landon Mauser rounded out the competing Dickinson athletes with seven-over 78.
Nick Alexander from Christopher Newport University leads the individual leaderboard thanks to a one-under 70 to lead Bridgewater College's Walker Gillespie who finished on 71 followed by four athletes at 72, including the Devils McMahon-Shea.
