HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. - The Dickinson men's golf team knocked 14 strokes off their Tuesday total dropping from 305 to 291 en route to taking home the team title at the Alvernia University Fall Invite on Wednesday afternoon. Not only did the Red and White topple the field, but
Collin McMahon-Shea was also the top individual firing a two-day score of 142 to win the event at Bulle Rock Golf Course.
The Devils lowest scorer on the day was
William Griffith who posted a two-under 70 on the 6687-yard, par 72 course shaving 13 shots off his day one mark (83). With his 72 McMahon-Shea finished with the next best score en route to claiming the title. The duo of
Landon Mauser and
Carl Williams each improved from day one as they ended within a stroke of each other carding 74 and 75 respectively.
Michael DePalma concluded the scoring for DC by ending with an 84.
McMahon-Shea (-2) held a five shot advantage over his next closest competitor Jimmy Spallone from Christopher Newport University who ended at a +3 (147).
