WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team knocked four strokes off of Saturday's total going from 294 to 290 on Sunday. Unfortunately, it would not be enough as the Red and White fell just two shots of the eventual winner McDaniel College as the action concluded at Waynesboro Country Club.
Following his three under 69 on Saturday,
Collin McMahon-Shea once again came in with the lowest score for the Devils carding an even par 72 on the 6740-yard course. However, he was not alone at that score as
William Griffith shaved three off his margin going from 75 to 72.
Landon Mauser had the biggest drop improving from a 79 to 73, while
Carl Williams also posted a 73 following his 75 a day before.
Jake Goldberg entered the clubhouse one stroke better as well finishing with a 74 on day two.
Nick Conti from the host Gettysburg College took the title with a combined 139 (68-71) to edge out teammates Daniel Casanta and Andrew Ekstrom. McMahon-Shea finished at three-under only two shots back of the win.
