LANCASTER, Pa. - For the third straight season Dickinson women's basketball player
Clair Marion has been named First Team All-Centennial Conference as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
The senior out of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, appeared in 27 games, making 26 starts averaging 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 steals and 2.3 assists per game. For the year she had 18 double-digit scoring games, including four 20-plus point outbursts against Stevens, Misericordia, Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore. Marion also posted a pair of double-doubles versus Haverford (14 pts, 10 rebs) and Franklin & Marshall (11 pts, 11 rebs). She held Top-10 ranks within the conference for points per game (9th), steals per game (2nd) and three pointers made (2nd). During the season, Marion collected two phenomenal milestones with the first coming in the season opener against Stevens where her three-pointer with 20 seconds left made her the newest member of the 1,000-point club. Then, just about two months later she broke the Dickinson College three-point record by knocking down her 170th of her Red Devil career.   Â
