Devils Track & Field Programs Combine for Seven All-Region Athletes

NEW ORLEANS - The Dickinson outdoor track and field programs had a combined seven athletes named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) as announced by the organization this week. Seniors Annie Leder and Amiyah Priebe, junior classmates Erin Olsavsky and Trevor Richwine and first-year trio Franklyn Akabi-During, Darian Crim and Oliver Stroka all garnered the honors.

The All-Region honorees come from the Top-5 individuals in each event from each region, while the members of a Top-3 ranked relay team are also chosen.

Female
Leder, nabbed her spot by taking second in the region for the long jump with a mark of 5.87m during the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 2nd.
Olsavsky, earned the final place in the All-Region Team for the 200m after hitting the line at 25.21 at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships (5/2).
Priebe, ranked third for the 3000m steeplechase clocking in at 10:53.66 also on May 2nd at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Male
Akabi-During used a time of 21.25 in the 200m at the Widener University Final Qualifier on May 12th to claim his honor.
Crim clocked in at 48.15 during the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (4/18).
Richwine finished the regular campaign as the top man in the Mid-Atlantic Region for the 800m thanks to a time of 1:48.31 at the Widener University Final Qualifier.
Stroka is the second field athlete to make the list for the Red and White finishing as the number five man in the region for the hammer throw after posting a mark of 52.00m at the Messiah University Invitational.
