LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson women's golf team returned to action on Sunday afternoon by taking part in a tri-match hosted by Centennial Conference foe Franklin and Marshall College at Overlook Golf Club. The other combatant in the action was another conference rival in McDaniel College. Dickinson posted a 377-431 win over the Green Terror, while dropping a tough 351-377 decision to the host Diplomats.
Dickinson Team Results
The Red and White were led on the par 70 course by first-year
Charlotte Anstine who took second with an impressive score of 83. Senior
Marin Moore and rookie
Lily Spanos came in within a stroke of each other posting 96 and 97 respectively.
Sydney Fluhrer added a 101, while
Claire Kingsbury fired a 110.
Dickinson Individuals
The Devils also played two athletes as individuals with
Hannah DeMario carding a 95 and
Diana Zeppos heading to the 19th-hole on 103.
Individual Winner
Sarah Wang of the host Franklin and Marshall claimed the title with a score of five-over 75.
