LANCASTER, Pa. - For the first time this year the Dickinson volleyball team has been recognized by the Centennial Conference office for their accomplishments on the court as sophomore Mallie Thomas was selected as the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Week sharing the honor with Washington College's Allison McKechnie the league announced on Tuesday morning.

Thomas, the native of Jackson, Mississippi, averaged 5.10 kills and 3.70 digs per set while hitting .333% in a 3-0 week for the Red Devils that featured wins over Susquehanna, Mount Aloysius and Catholic. She opened the week with 18 kills, 11 digs and one ace with a week-best .417% hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep of Susquehanna. Thomas then racked up 12 kills, 11 digs, one ace and one block in a 3-0 win over Mount Aloysius. She closed out the week with her third 20-plus kill match of the season, recording 21 kills and a season-high 15 digs in a four-set triumph.

Thomas and the rest of her teammates kickoff a busy week of home matches tomorrow night at 7pm when they entertain Lancaster Bible College inside the Kline Center.
