Alexander Kane's impressive performance set a new school record in the 4k, and multiple other Devils finished with strong times as well.
4k Race
Senior
Alexander Kane shattered a Dickinson men's cross country record at the Invitational, finishing fifth in the Men's 4k with a time of 12:03.7. The finish bests his time at the Misericordia University Invite to start the season where he ran a 12:29.30. Sophomore
Luke Knestout followed closely, securing sixth place with a time of 12:07.1, which also surpassed the previous school record. Junior
Nathan Caldwell completed the race in 12:15.8, taking the seventh. Junior
Benjamin Moseman and sophomore
Atticus Fair rounded out the top five for Dickinson, placing ninth and tenth with times of 12:19.8 and 12:21.8 respectively. The team's total time was good for second place overall.
8k Race
In the 8k race earlier that morning, Hennessy was the top performer for Dickinson; finishing in 26th place with a time of 27:56.2. He was closely followed by sophomore
Edward Liszka, who secured the 29th with a time of 28:10.4. First-year
Wiley Mulholland also contributed with a 43rd place finish, clocking in at 28:38.7. The team finished in seventh overall in the 8k.
On the Docket
Looking ahead, the Red Devils will compete in the Paul Short Invitational on October 3 at 12:15 p.m. in Bethlehem, PA, at the Goodman Campus XC Course.
