NEWVILLE, Pa. — Dickinson College Men's Cross Country hosted the NCAA DIII Mid-Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday afternoon and finished fourth overall.
Nathan Caldwell and
Luke Knestout finished 11th and 12th respectively at Big Spring High School in nearby Newville, Pa. Both Caldwell and Knestout's impressive finishes have qualified them for the National Championship next Saturday in South Carolina.
Red Devil Runner Highlights
- Junior Caldwell finished 11th, clocking a time of 25:38.10, qualifying him for the National Championship.
- Sophomore Knestout closely followed Caldwell, securing 12th place in 25:39.83. His performance also secures him a spot in the upcoming National Championship.
- Senior Alexander Kane crossed the line in 22nd with a time of 25:58.26, just shy of advancing to the championship.
- Senior Benjamin Moseman finished 46th, posting a time of 26:43.60.
- First-Year Jake Hennessy made his mark with a 79th place finish, clocking in at 27:39.89, as he gained experience on the regional stage.

The event featured over 500 entries across 31 schools in the region. Centennial foe Johns Hopkins claimed first place, placing seven in the top ten. Carnegie Mellon finished in second and took second and third place.

Caldwell and Knestout will travel to the NCAA National Championships on November 22 at 11 a.m. in Spartanburg, S.C.
