LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's and women's cross country team had two athletes recognized by the Centennial Conference office on Thursday morning as sophomore
Liza Barbash earned First Team All-Conference honors, while junior
Nathan Caldwell was named to the Second Team.
Barbash, a native of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, locked down her place on the First Team after hitting the line in seventh with a time of 21:48.30 at the Centennial Conference Championship last Saturday. She began her season with four straight Top-2 finishes, including three consecutive wins at the Little Three Championship (18:10.8), Shenandoah Twilight Open (18:25.7) and Dickinson Long-Short 4k (14:21.5).
Caldwell, the resident of Ringwood, New Jersey, earned his all-conference recognition with a 13th-place result at the Centennial Conference Championship clocking in at 24:55.00. He has a trio of Top-3 finishes on the season taking second in both the Misericordia Invite (12:25.00) and Shenandoah Twilight Open (19:46.0), while crossing the stripe in third during the Little Three Championship thanks to a 15:42.2.
Barbash and Caldwell will join their teammates next Saturday, November 15th at the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania.
