CARLISLE, Pa. - After an appearance in the 2024 Centennial-MAC Bowl Series, the Dickinson football season gets underway on Friday night in Ashland, Virginia at Day Field on the campus of the 21st-ranked Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon College. Kickoff is slated for 6pm.

Inside the Devils Den
Schedule Overview
- The first four weeks of the season sees Dickinson play just once at home when they welcome Waynesburg University to Carlisle on September 13th at 1pm. The following two games will see them take their show on the road at Lycoming University (9/20 @ 1pm) and No. 3 Johns Hopkins University on Friday, October 3rd at 6pm in the Centennial Conference opener.
- The Red and White will host both of the big rivalry games this season as they welcome Gettysburg College on October 11th (1pm) for the annual Battle for the Bucket, before welcoming Franklin & Marshall College a week later (10/18) also at 1pm with the Conestoga Wagon on the line.
- Homecoming comes up on Senior Day, November, 8th as the Bears from Ursinus College arrive in Carlisle for a 1pm kick.
- Dickinson also has matchups at McDaniel College (10/25 @ 1pm) and on the home turf November 1st at 1pm against No. 18 Carnegie Mellon University.
Centennial Preseason Poll - 6th
The Offensive General
- The Devils will have sophomore Ben Klassen steering the ship under center this season. Last season, Klassen was 54-for-98 totaling 637 yards with six touchdowns and one pick in six games last year. Klassen earned conference player of the week honors last year after going 21-of-35 for 241 yards and a TD, while running seven times racking up 72 yards.
- He is joined in the quarterback room by classmate Ethan Horner and first-years Aiden McElhatton, Zach Mullin and Brady Shilling.
Pass Catchers
- The top returning target for the Devils is Kellen Boyer who hauled in 26 passes picking up 261 yards and four TDs.
- The pair of Keesean Campbell and Frederik Fjeldseth combined for 28 catches and 286 yards and a pair of scores.
- A talented group of first-years will look to make an impact in their rookie season for the Red and White.
Rushing Attack
- Cedric Benning III is back to tote the rock for the Devils after rushing 56 times for 231 and two touchdowns.
- Klassen also likes to use his legs to escape the pocket scampering 41 times racking up 208 yards to average over five yards a carry.
Defense Helps as Well
- Sam Orzolek is the leading tackler for DC following a season with 44 stops, including three tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
- Both Joaquin Acuna and Domani White return following a year of 30-plus tackles each and combining for 13.5 tackles for loss, six quarterback hits, five pass breakups and a forced fumble.
- Valdemar Enghave and Ojoo Macapiyo posted double-digit tackles as well.
The Yellow Jackets Nest
Randolph-Macon enters Friday's opener ranked 21st in the national preseason poll after going 10-2 overall and a flawless 7-0 mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference advancing all the way to the NCAA Tournament Third Round where they suffered a 35-14 road loss at Salisbury University.
Dante Casciola is once again going to be in charge of leading the RMC offense following a season of 136-for-216 racking up 1628 yards with 11 touchdowns and three picks, while adding 450 yards and ten TDs on the ground. He will be looking to hand the rock off to the duo of DJ James and Mitchell Johnshon who combined for 174 touches and 782 yards with 14 touchdowns. Jason Moore returners as Casciola's top target following a season of 36 catches and 560 yards along with six touchdowns. He is joined by Basit Qadri who added 21 grabs for 287 yards.
Randolph-Macon's defense will anchored by returning leading tacklers Quentin Mankin and Jeffrey Acheampong who each had more then 30 tackles (8.5 for loss), while joining up for eight pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, two interceptions and a pair of quarterback hits. The trio of Collin Farmer, Neftali Reyes and Brandon Watson all reached the 20 tackle plateau and combined to force five fumbles.
